Free Event in Avignon Brings us Back to Roman Times

One event that promises to be particularly interesting, is a host of archeological digs and exhibitions that will provide an insight into the Roman’s time in the French countryside, many centuries ago.

Event: Archeological Digs – the Romans in Vaucluse

About: Both fun and educational this exhibition will allow you to discover the roots of the Roman Empires presence in the French countryside.

Through studying every day objects found in digs and excavations, archaeologists  reveal the lifestyles of the generations gone before us and provide us with a glimpse of how these people survived and evolved through the ages.

You will also get the opportunity to take part in a game where you could win a  Roman-themed weekend! This is a must see event for everyone!
